At Towards Equal Foundation, we believe that every individual deserves an opportunity to thrive, and every community can be empowered through access to resources and opportunities. Founded by Mahendran Balachandran and Sangeeta Prabhu Mahendran, Towards Equal is a Private Foundation with a profound commitment to creating a more equitable world.
We actively release strategic grants, often dedicated to specific projects, and engage in program-related investments. These financial resources are directed towards initiatives that align with our mission and vision, empowering organizations and individuals to create meaningful change.
We believe in the power of equipping our grantees with the necessary resources and tools to amplify their impact. By supporting them in expanding their capabilities, we aim to enable them to create a more significant difference in the communities they serve.
Our commitment extends to impact investments, both program-related and mission-related. We collaborate with and invest in social entrepreneurs and enterprises that are dedicated to making a positive social and environmental impact.
